The mediator will review the mediation process with you and will answer all of your questions about what to expect in mediation. If by the end of the meeting you decide that you would like to proceed with mediation, your mediator will advise you what information you will need to gather and to submit to the mediator prior to your first mediation session so that your mediator can be fully informed prior to your meeting. All participants are invited to be on the initial call, but it is not required. Learn more at https://kusturiss.com (link to mediation page) or by calling us and speaking to a family law attorney.
Collaborative law is also known as collaborative practice. It is a legal process enabling couples who have made the decision to separate or end their marriage to work with their collaborative professionals including collaboratively trained lawyers, coaches, and financial professionals. This is done to avoid the uncertain outcome of court and to achieve a settlement that best meets the specific needs of both parties, and their children, without the underlying threat of litigation. If you have further questions, call us today to speak to a family law attorney.
